The Minnie Pearl Cancer Foundation Offers Free Massage Therapy Services for Area Cancer Patients at Parkridge

CHATTANOOGA , Tenn. (Oct. 20, 2011) – Beginning Oct. 27, The Minnie Pearl Cancer Foundation will offer massage therapy services free of charge to area cancer patients. The sessions, which will take place at The Sarah Cannon Cancer Center at Parkridge Medical Center on Thursdays from 2 – 3 p.m., are open to all cancer survivors in the community regardless of treating facility.

Reservations are required and will be taken on a first-come, first-serve basis. To register for a massage therapy session, call Melissa Pendergrass, oncology nurse navigator at The Sarah Cannon Cancer Center at Parkridge Medical Center, at (423) 495-1865.
